Things have been busy lately and it wasn’t until Friday that I realized I didn’t have any set plans for the weekend {!}
AW had a friend in town last night and they went out to drink beer and watch the rugby game. I had the house to myself and watched the Perks of Being a Wallflower, which I loved. It was a beautifully done movie and really stuck with me. My heart felt heavy at the end, but the sadness I felt for the characters was juxtaposed with the feeling of liveliness I shared with them. I definitely recommend it if you haven’t seen it yet.
We took Darla to the dog park today and had a pub lunch with friends. I experimented a little in the kitchen with somewhat hilarious results . I’m looking forward to hanging out with Andrew tonight {scary movie?!} and getting some good rest in order to be productive tomorrow {and Skype with Mom!}
